The wireless signal connected to the AP is unstable.

Page view

After connecting to a wireless AP, the Internet is unstable. Generally speaking, the wireless connection is not connected, the Internet is slow, or the wireless is dropped. Common possible causes and solutions are as follows:

1. The location planning and installation method of AP installation is unreasonable.

If the ceiling type AP is installed in a place with insufficient height, the orientation is unreasonable, and the blind spots in the area cause wireless instability.

Solution: Replace the position and orientation, install in the center of the area, and point to the place where you want to receive the signal.

2. Wireless interference

After the AP is installed, the adjacent wireless channels overlap, and the communication will interfere with each other, which may cause the wireless terminal to be unstable. In addition, other wireless in the environment will also interfere with each other.

Solution:

(1) For interference between APs:

Adjacent neighbors can be separated by wireless channels 1-6-11, and the bandwidth is adjusted to 20 Mhz to avoid mutual interference.

(2) Wireless interference to other devices in the environment:

If other wireless devices in the environment have large interference, you can view the wireless channel of the nearby wireless device in the management page of the AP to avoid interference. It is recommended to remove or avoid as much as possible.

3. The devices connected to individual APs are dropped and unstable.

Solution: First, if there is any problem with the network cable connection of the AP, if there is any problem with the ports at both ends of the network cable, you can try to replace the root cable connection to see if there is any drop or instability.
